Please read these terms carefully before using our services. By booking a cleaning with Absolute Cleaners you agree to the following conditions.
1. Agreement to These Terms
By requesting or using any cleaning service provided by Absolute Cleaners, you agree to be bound by these terms. We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of our services after any update means you accept the revised terms.
2. Our Services
We provide residential and commercial cleaning services in Ottawa and surrounding areas. Services include standard cleaning, deep cleaning, move-in and move-out cleaning, post-construction cleaning, and other services as described on our website. We reserve the right to decline or discontinue any service at our discretion.
3. Booking and Confirmation
A booking is confirmed only when you receive written or verbal confirmation from Absolute Cleaners. We reserve the right to adjust pricing before confirming a booking if the information provided does not accurately reflect the actual scope or condition of the space.
4. Cancellation and Rescheduling
Cancellations or reschedules require at least 24 hours notice. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice are subject to a $75 fee. We reserve the right to cancel any booking at any time. If we cancel, you will receive full notice and no cancellation fee applies.
5. Refund and Re-Clean Policy
All service fees are non-refundable. If you are not satisfied with the result, contact us within 24 hours of the service with a description and photos of the areas in question. At our discretion we may schedule a complimentary re-clean of the specific areas identified. Re-cleans are typically scheduled within 24 to 48 hours of the complaint. Requests submitted more than 24 hours after the service will not be eligible for a re-clean.
6. Move-Out Cleaning Requirements
For move-out cleaning services the property must be completely empty of all personal belongings before our team arrives. The property must have working electricity and water. If the property is not empty on arrival we reserve the right to reclassify the service and adjust the price accordingly. We do not remove pet odours.
7. Pricing and Schedule Changes
Pricing for recurring services is based on cleaning frequency. Skipping a scheduled clean may result in a price adjustment for the next visit based on the new interval between cleans. We reserve the right to adjust our pricing at any time. Confirmed bookings will not be affected by price changes unless the scope of work changes.
8. Arrival Windows
Our team will arrive within a one-hour window of the scheduled time. Traffic and travel between jobs may cause minor delays. We will notify you of any significant delays beyond the one-hour window.
9. Property Access
By providing access to your property you confirm you have the authority to do so. Access information such as keys, codes and entry instructions will only be used by your assigned cleaning team and kept strictly confidential.
10. Conduct and Scope of Work
Our team is trained to be professional and respectful at all times on your property. They will not smoke, eat, drink, watch television or engage in any activity unrelated to the scheduled cleaning. Our services cover general cleaning only. Specialized services such as grout restoration, exterior windows, biohazard removal and heavy furniture moving are outside our scope.
11. Damage and Liability
Our team takes great care with your belongings. If damage occurs, notify us within 24 hours. We will review the situation and respond fairly. We are not liable for damage resulting from existing wear or fragile items that were not disclosed before the service.
12. Pet Safety
We are not responsible for pets that escape during entry or exit. If pets will be present during the clean, please inform us in advance. Our team will take precautions to ensure doors are closed promptly on arrival and departure.
13. Equipment and Supplies
We supply all cleaning products and equipment. If you have preferred products you would like us to use, let us know at least 24 hours before the appointment. We reserve the right to use our own products where necessary for quality and safety reasons.
14. Health and Safety
If you or anyone in your household has symptoms of illness, COVID-19 or any communicable condition, please notify us before your scheduled service. We reserve the right to postpone or cancel services for health and safety reasons.
